When we say the science is in-house, we mean it has a desk.
Rob Davidson has spent more than three decades in pharmaceutical and healthcare innovation, working on one problem from every angle: how to get what matters into the body, faster, wherever people need it.
His career has taken him to more than 45 countries, from research collaborations with university hospital systems to on-the-ground work alongside the U.S. Armed Forces, NATO allies, and Special Operations units, developing rapid-response treatments for traumatic injuries and biological threats. When the setting is a battlefield or an outbreak, delivery isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s the whole job.

The proof

Rob’s mouth-dissolving delivery technology has been tested in a clinical study at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, published in the peer-reviewed journal Blood Advances, with Rob as a co-author. Researchers used his oral thin film to deliver vitamin D to stem cell transplant patients through the tissues of the mouth, the same route every iLLPiLL tab takes.
Most supplement brands point to studies on an ingredient. Ours is on the delivery, and our co-founder’s name is on it.

On pills
For a lot of ingredients, a good share of what you paid for gets lost on the trip through your gut. I wanted a better route for those.
On delivery
The ingredient only matters if it gets where it’s going. Delivery is the part nobody wanted to do the hard work on, so that’s where I’ve spent three decades.
